This is probably the biggest name on our list. Adidas is steadily working its way towards a gigantic sustainability goal by 2020. Parley for the Oceans, a network founded by Adidas, works to transform plastic ocean waste into high-performance products. Their ULTRABOOST line was created with help from real world runners and was the official show for the Run for the Oceans global event series. Each shoe saves approximately 11 plastic bottles from sinking into the ocean.
PACT Apparel is an American brand creates fair trade basics for women, men, and kids. All their hoodies, socks, leggings, and other items are made using organic cotton at a Fair-Trade certified factory. Their prices beat out other big name brands every step of the way.
Transparency is the second name of Reformation’s game. The first is sustainability. Quarterly sustainability reports show the brand making leaps and bounds with an eco-friendly factory and infrastructure. Plus, their motto is “Being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We’re #2.” I’m with it.
